Come Meet Me

You are here and just want to scan through this page. You, yes, You. Do you remember the first time you read a similar text? Pause, take a deep breath.

You sometimes feel so confident and in control and at other times unsure, is it because of who you are or because of your situation right now? You have had wonderful times without a care in the world, wish things could be less confusing. You have tried, not that you haven't; but it still just stays. The other night you couldn't go to sleep though you were tired, you just stayed awake until yourr eyes got too heavy and gave in.

You prayed, yes you did and you still do, though lately its been an effort. You search for a revelation trying to resolve it all. Suddenly you are here, it all seem empty, though you try to hide it with a smile. Can you see me? look again...........wait..........I will meet you.

I want you to know that I see all that you have inside of you and its time. You have to laugh again, like you use to, straight from the bottom of your heart. So, come meet me, I am here with you, and see the slight curve on your lips revealing a smile..........smile.......relax.........breath.........shut your eyes........lets' pray together.

"The Lord is my shepherd there is nothing I shall want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside still and restful waters
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemes; thou annointest my headwith oil; my cup runneth over
Surely only goodness, mercy and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life. and I will dwell in the house of The Lord forever." Amen.

Keep Shinning

The darkness in this world sometimes tends to overshadow light. Place a lamp in the light and look all around you, then place a lamp in a dark corner and see how it illuminates. Tell me, how would you shine without turbulence? When you go through life like a lamp lighted in the light then you are one lucky person, you probably have not experience any bit of the darkness in the world.
"I was roaming the earth......."
I know you remember those lines. If you are the lamp lighted in the light, of what use are you, they would turn you off, you are not important to the guy who was roaming the earth- what are the implications?
But that light that illuminates in the dark is sought after. See this scenario.
We are all in the cinema and a movie just ended, people exchanging pleasantries
and comments on how captivating the movie was and suddenly, a blackout; it all
goes dark. And just outside, through the tiny entrance door, shows the fully lighted
ticket room.
What do you think the audience would do?
a. wait in the dark
b. proceed to the light
c. ignore the light and look into the darkness
d. look towards the light
The turbulence of life would come, they would fight you 'cos you are a light, don't go dim, keep shinning. If you haven't experienced any troubles of life that drives you to the point of 'I can't go on, this is too much'  then you are far from being a light. He would roam, he would try you, he will tell you to curse, to end your life; yes he would push you. Stay shinning, your Saviour and friend has his hands over you, 'don't touch his life'. Just when you are about to dim, he would stretch his hands to lift you, your troubles are over.
Seek ye first the Kingdom of God
And His righteousness
And all these things shall be added unto you
Hallelu, Hallelujah!

Man shall not live by bread alone
But by every word
That proceeds from the mouth of God
Hallelu, Hallelujah!

Ask and it shall be given unto you
Seek and ye shall find
Knock and the door shall be opened unto you
Hallelu, Hallelujah!

If the Son shall set you free
Ye shall be free indeed
Ye shall know the truth, and it shall set you free
Hallelu, Hallelujah!

Let your light so shine before men that they may see
Your good works and glorify
Your Father in heaven
Hallelu, Hallelujah!

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart
He shall direct thy paths
In all thy ways acknowledge Him
Hallelu, Hallelujah!

Listen

You are a human being not a human doing.
It wouldn't hurt if I took a day off. A day off work, off talking, off worrying, off blogging and just listen.
I begin the day at 7.00am on my knees, spirit filled with joy and just listen. Off to the shower, turn on the water and it splashes over me, hmmm...listen to its rustling sound and a smile; satisfied. I am putting on my lovely sun dress, it feels so light and free and ready to compete with nature, while I listen to streaming cool morning songs. Off to breakfast and its breakfast at my favorite cafe, they are tuned to a wake-up show. Sunny breakfast, listen, its the waitress, pouring tea.
And now, time to enjoy the best part of the day, my walk. The trees are so green, the flowers waking and waving hello, the river is so 'crisp' guess I could say that, the sidewalks are clean, the air smells pure and I listen to the birds 'chirp' 'chirp' tweeting. A song is in my heart

1. This is my Father's world,

and to my listening ears

all nature sings, and round me rings

the music of the spheres.

This is my Father's world:

I rest me in the thought

of rocks and trees, of skies and seas;

his hand the wonders wrought.

2. This is my Father's world,

the birds their carols raise,

the morning light, the lily white,

declare their maker's praise.

This is my Father's world:

he shines in all that's fair;

in the rustling grass I hear him pass;

he speaks to me everywhere.

3. This is my Father's world.

O let me ne'er forget

that though the wrong seems oft so strong,

God is the ruler yet.

This is my Father's world:

why should my heart be sad?

The Lord is King; let the heavens ring!

God reigns; let the earth be glad!

I skip on as I listen to my heart sing.

Take a day off, go somewhere quiet, listen to nature. If you cannot do it alone, get a friend to tag along and take the time to listen, you just might find fulfilment.

Storms

Storms could knock you down,
They make you feel without meaning,
The world seem far beyond your reach,

But still in that turbulence,
Be Still.
Panic, lost, stay still just once again,
It is I,
I am here
I heard his voice.

If there must be trouble

"If there must be trouble, let it be in my day, that my child may have peace."

....Thomas Paine

No more tears, just an emptiness.

No meaning,

just blank, quiet, cold, light,

starring into nothing.
